GLOHOMO was established to promote livelihood, and economic empowerment among the marginalized community including women and children to promote sustainable livelihoods, financial inclusion, enterprise diversification, strengthened community structures, and gender equality. GLOHOMO has unique methodologies in engaging communities in finding solutions to their own problems, supported by rigorous monitoring and evaluation systems to account for the outputs, results, and impact per community. GLOHOMO’s establishment was to respond to challenges such as widespread poverty, gender inequalities, limited or poor access to health services including youth-friendly services, and poor water sanitation among others.
